Terms of Service

Last updated: 8 May 2026

These terms govern your use of automatiabcn.com and any product we sell, including ABS (self-hosted AI orchestrator), the MCP Suite, and AutoPilot. By creating an account, completing a purchase, or otherwise using the services, you agree to these terms.

1. Service description

Automatia BCN sells software licenses and provides ancillary services (documentation, email support, optional onboarding). The flagship product, ABS, is a self-hosted AI orchestrator that you run on your own infrastructure with a license key issued by us.

2. License

ABS is distributed under the Business Source License 1.1 (BSL 1.1) plus a per-customer license key. The BSL 1.1 source is available on GitHub for inspection. The license key authorises you to operate ABS on infrastructure you control. Reverse engineering of the license-validation layer, redistributing the binaries, or sharing the license key with parties outside your organisation is prohibited.

3. User responsibilities

You agree to use the service in compliance with applicable law. You will not use the service to host illegal content, send unsolicited bulk email, attack other systems, or train competing models on our outputs without permission. You are responsible for the security of your own infrastructure, API keys, and license key.

4. Limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by Spanish law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

5. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your license for material breach of these terms (for example, license sharing, chargeback fraud, or use of the service for illegal activity). We will give you written notice and a 14-day cure period where the breach is curable. On termination, the license key is revoked via /v1/admin/revoke and ABS will refuse to start at next restart.

6. Refunds

Our refund policy is published at /refund and forms part of these terms.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any dispute will be brought before the courts of Barcelona, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules in your country of residence.

8. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be notified by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
